This document comprises multiple chapters discussing the intersection of gender, agriculture, and budgeting in Nasarawa State, Nigeria. In Chapter One, the study introduces its objectives, methodology, and the Small-Scale Women Farmers Organization in Nigeria (SWOFON) along with its Charter of Demands. It highlights the critical role played by smallholder women farmers in the state's agriculture and food security.
